During our busy baking season during the fall, we produce 50,000 pounds of Claxton Fruit Cake each day. Quality and value have always been a priority for our family-operated business.

What’s the difference between your “Regular” and “Dark” recipes?
Our “Regular” recipe is more popular than our “Dark” variety; however, our “Dark” cakes contain the same high quality fruit-and-nut content. The difference lies in the molasses, spices and natural, sun-ripened raisins, which give the “Dark” cakes their distinctive, darker color. Our “Regular” fruit cakes contain both golden and natural raisins along with imitation rum flavoring.
What’s the best way to serve your cakes?
Chill and slice with a damp, sharp knife. Our cakes can also be frozen for extended keeping.
