Heavy metals and auxiliary chemicals in synthetic dying agents cause water pollution and interfere with marine life. For our products, we apply the following natural dying agents from central Myanmar (Burma):
· tropical timber (Terminaliapyrifolia) tree bark for light yellow (Eggnog Yellow) color
· Emblic (Phyllanthusemblica) and black-myrobalan (Terminaliachebula) tree fruits for light gray (Harbor Gray) color
To reduce the plastic pollution, we only use coconut-shell buttons.
Innovative Design for Efficient Rejuvenation
After 1 to 2 month of use, odors, toxins, pollutants, & moisture from the ambient air are trapped in small pores of bamboo charcoal. It is time to remove those from bamboo charcoal.
For a better removal (rejuvenating) process, we make our inner and outer bags separable.
Take an inner bag and place it under direct sunlight (natural UV light) in the open air for 1 to 3 hours. To make sure your bamboo charcoal becomes fully rejuvenated, it is better to flip them over.
Outer bags can wash under tap water.
