- CHARACTERISTICS. These Italian Chickpeas are cultivated on law level hilly plateau in Italy. The medium-textured subsoil is suitable for the development and for the growth of this type of plantation and the warm, dry climate give chickpeas a gentle but intense taste recalling the pleasing fresh grass scent.
- HOW TO USE. Chickpeas are used in many traditional recipes and as a side dish for intense taste plates such as code, herring and pork. They are ideal to prepare delicious creamy soups and veloutes.
- HOW TO COOK. Soak for 12 hours. Rinse and cook for 1 hour and half/2 hours, depending on the desired consistency. Salt at the end of cooking.
- HOW TO STORE. Store in a cool dry place away from heat and direct sunlight.
