Turn the camera on. Hold down the format button for 5 seconds until the FORMAT LED light blinks green. The micro SD card formatting is complete when the LED stops blinking. Run the camera through the start-up sequence outlined in the manual. |
Install the camera and take a TEST photoChoose a location for your camera and install it using the installation strap (included). Adjust the height of the camera to aim for the subject’s mid-body. Avoid leaves, branches or tall grass in front of the camera as this can trigger motion detection resulting in blank photos. Use the TEST button to take a photo to ensure the camera is working. |
