Product Description
The Guajome Fig variety is a wild fig seedling discovered growing near Guajome Lake in Oceanside, California. It has dark purple to black figs with white speckles, jammy red color interior, and sweet tasty berry flavor. We are uncertain if this is a self-fertile aka common fig, or if it requires the fig wasps for pollination becuase we are in a location with the fig wasps. This listing is for 2 cuttings, suitable for rooting or grafting. Fig trees are easy to grow from cuttings. We use the “fig pop” rooting method to root fig cuttings, and have around an 80%-90% success rate without using rooting hormone. Please do an online search for “fig pop method” to find instructions for how to easily root fig cutting.
