- VENTS-US filters can be used in our Freshbox units without decreasing air flow and straining your HVAC equipment.
- HEPA – a type of pleated mechanical air filter. It is an acronym for “high efficiency particulate air” and is recommended when the very highest level of filtration is needed.
- MERV 14 – most often found in pharmacy and hospital applications, though they can be used in residential places. MERV 14 filters are particularly helpful for those who are more sensitive to infections.
- MERV 8 – Very common for general residential and commercial use. These tend to work best in homes with older furnaces and can handle having both humans and pets in the household.
- All air cleaners require periodic cleaning and filter replacement to function properly. The MERV8 are washable, recommended cleaning every 6-months.The MERV14 are disposable, recommended replacement every 6-12 months. The HEPA is disposable, recommended replacement every 3-5 years depending on soilage.
