Our History
VKTRY helps elite athletes at over 500 pro and college teams increase their explosiveness and minimize injuries.

“I was proud to be making custom orthotics for these elite athletes, but I also wanted to help them win races,” stated VKTRY Gear founder and Certified Pedorthist Matt Arciuolo. “The coach told me ‘If you can help us be more explosive in the push phase… even by milliseconds… that can be the difference between winning and losing.’ And that is what inspired me to invent VKTRY Insoles!”

How did we get our start?
Our Insoles were first invented to help the USA Bobsledding Team win gold in 2010. This was the first time carbon fiber had been used in footwear for energy storage/energy return. After several years of development, VKTRY Gear was launched in 2016.

1. How are VKTRY Insoles customized for each athlete?
VKTRY Insoles are designed to be highly personalized based on age, body weight, and sport. Gold VKs come in 5 levels of flexibility because a bigger athlete needs more spring action than a smaller athlete
2. Do I need to remove the insoles that came with my shoes?
3. Is there a break-in period to adjust to the insoles?
4. If I am on the border of a weight level, should I go up or down?
5. Am I supposed to trim the insoles to get them to fit in the shoes?
No, please do NOT attempt to trim the VKTRY Insoles. Carbon fiber is not meant to be trimmed. Our products are designed to fit by shoe size with no alterations.
