Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean); 2/3 cup water
- 1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso Original Taco Seasoning Mix
- Green Chiles; 6 cups tortilla chips
- 2 cups Old El Paso Shredded Mexican Style 4 Cheese Blend (8 oz)
- 1 medium avocado, pitted and chopped; 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
EASY BEEF NACHOS
Preparation instructions:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
- In 10-in. nonstick skillet, cook beef over medium-high heat 5 to 7 min., stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
- Stir in water, taco seasoning mix and green chiles; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 3 to 4 min., stirring until thickened.
- Spread half of chips evenly in lined pan and top with half of beef mixture; sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over beef. Repeat layers. Bake 8 to 10 min.
- Top with queso sauce, avocado, tomatoes, green onions and cilantro.
